“A Rose For Emily” is so gorgeous and so sad, bright and haunting all at once. A lot of their songs are that way. “Emily” is just a personal favorite but the Zombies seriously lay claim to so much high art material. We’d be remiss not to mention Odessey & Oracle, an immortal masterwork that’s rightfully considered one of the best things ever.
